Annual cleanup will target trash on the Lake. Volunteers will clean waterfront areas close to the Lake Houston Marina and McKay Bridge, several park areas and other areas accessible by boat. Gloves, trash bags and hotdog lunch will be provided. Registration starts at 8 a.m. at either the Lake Houston Marina, at 10611 FM 1960 Road East or at the Luce Bayou camp at 27514 Huffman-New Caney Road. Come out and help clean up the Lake! Water level is up and the Lake will be stocked with Florida Strain Bass as well as the catfish, white bass and bass already in the Lake.
